Essential oils in the base note category last the longest. They are rich and heavy in character. In a blend it hold the top notes and the middle notes together to prevent it from dispersing too quickly.

Base note oils are suitable for problems arising from emotional imbalance like nervousness, erratic behavior, impulsiveness.

Base oil group also works for chronic conditions that are associated with traumatic experiences For example deep seated anger or frustrations, feeling of rejection or pain that have been energetically suppressed deep down into the tissues and organs of our bodies. These energies never go away. It stays there and festers and creates a toxic environment that is favorable to diseases.

Base note oils give us the support we need to help us to feel safe and lift our mood. Often times recognizing the emotion and alleviating the toxic pattems behind the disease will result in the proper function of the body and mind which ultimately leads to health and well being.
